As a dedicated onsite team we can provide an on demand “remote hands’ service. This includes the full spectrum of services ranging from device racking & un-racking to assistance during device upgrades and outages. Whatever the physical task required, our experienced engineers can operate under instruction and with minimum direction, offering a seamless extension of your infrastructure team.
Through the use of your monitoring and management toolsets, we can perform on-site monitoring of Data Centre devices on a 24x7 basis. We work closely with your existing teams, partners and providers to action alerts during which our engineers follow escalation procedures, adhere to agreed management and monitoring policies, and provide detailed documentation and reports.
We manage the complete cycle of your Data Centre break fix requirements, either as an extension of our device monitoring service or under direction of your infrastructure team. Our accredited engineers can replace failed network and server components with minimum disruption.
Through regular audits we can take responsibility for the management of your onsite parts inventory, including local spares, thereby minimising any concerns over tracking goods-in and goods-out of your Data Centre. We are also able to ensure reserves of buffer stock are kept to agreed levels.
Whether you are concerned about poor device patching or want a consistent approach and ownership of the frame, we can work with you to establish the appropriate standards. This includes support for existing cable management standards or the development of new ones to suit your frame.
We understand that patching is one of the key disciplines of any good Data Centre operation. Our engineers take pride in the quality and consistency of any device patch undertaken and are able to use our in-depth understanding to test and troubleshoot any faulty connections quickly, reducing impact to your services.
By following a defined incident process we are able to track incidents closely and ensure quick identification of route cause to facilitate a speedy recovery of service.
Through regular audits, we are able to manage onsite parts inventory and third party maintenance contractual terms. We also manage all external providers involved in a hardware/software replacement activity.
Whether you need a complete management of backup tapes or occasional remote hands, our experience of handling physical Tape Storage media gives you the confidence that critical data is being handled in a secure fashion.
Effective capacity management is critical in modern Data Centres. As part of our Data Centre offering and through our understanding of cooling, power, patch frame capacity and rack U space, we have the expertise to maximise the best use of resources and deliver an even distribution of devices across the Data Centre.
Ranging from small or large scale Comms Room restacks to large scale DC to DC migrations, we have the expertise to manage the physical aspect of device migrations. In addition, our pre-migration and post migration checks ensure end to end management of the process.
